The Human Rights Protection Organization held its annual meeting on the 26th of April 2025 at its headquarters, bringing together Directors and officials from various sectors of the organization. The event was called by the Chief Executive Director, Dr. M. M. Shafaan, along with The Media Director, Shirly Anil De Silva. Director, Rev. Dimuthu Daluwatte, served as the Chief Guest for the occasion.
During the meeting, Mr. Shirly Anil De Silva was honored with the prestigious Service Excellence Award for his outstanding contributions to media and journalism. Rev. Dimuthu Daluwatte was also recognized for his exemplary service in the areas of organization development, religious rights, and journalism.
In addition, all Directors and officials officially accepted their new appointments for the upcoming year, reaffirming their commitment to upholding and promoting human rights. The event emphasized the collective dedication of the organization to continue its vital work for the protection and promotion of human rights globally.
